I have eleven years of applications programming,
training and consulting experience with
projects representing a wide range of
industries and skills including systems
analysis, design, programming and
maintenance. I now work with Tom McQuinn
as a consultant working primarily on the
IBM AS/400 specifically with J.D.Edwards software but also working on PC based
projects.
Project
History
- Designed and implemented a
development environment for a multi-billion dollar
conglomerate of publishing companies in which
several companies will be able to develop J.D.
Edwards software simultaneously in separate
environments.
- Implemented and maintained a
custom order returns system written using J.D.
Edwards standards and tools and interfacing to the
J.D. Edwards ERP system.
- Designed, implemented and
maintain McQuinn & Associates corporate web
site.
- Developed the architecture
and administered a two year plan to convert a
company using J.D. Edwards to Y2K compliance
without upgrading to a compliant release including
all interfacing software.
- Developed custom J.D. Edwards
manufacturing reporting tools for an automobile
parts manufacturer. Also supported various other
J.D. Edwards modules at this same client.
- Developed and administered a
plan to convert a J.D. Edwards client from 6.2 to
7.3. Also retrofitted custom modifications from
6.2 to 7.3 and implemented the new payment.
process used in 7.3 including customizing dream
writer versions, documentation, implementation and
training.
- Currently training in J.D.
Edwards One World report design.
- Coded applications for tax
collection purposes for a major mid-western city.
- Designed and programmed
applications using the CASE tool AS/SET for a
county office.
- Designed, coded, and
implemented applications to compliment a public
management package for a mid-western city.
- Designed and coded, using
Microsoft Access and Microsoft Visual Basic, a
bonds block trading package for a financial
institution.
- Setup a contracting company
on PC based software to run financial management
and payroll functions.
- Designed, coded, and
implemented multiple software applications for a
financial institution. These included applications
involving customer, sales, financial, historical
and service databases.
