Project
History
- Made extensive modifications
to J.D. Edwards A73 sales order processing for a
major publishing company. Customized advanced
pricing, kit processing, EDI, and item
substitutions.
- Created applications using
J.D. Edwards CASE tools to add/change/delete sales
order detail lines in a batch process.
- Enhanced address book
applications like the search window to give users
more advanced search options.
- Implemented EDI using J.D.
Edwards A73 and Harbinger for a paper distributor.
- Programmed modifications like
a messaging system to notify users of incoming
orders, support for additional address
information, special unit of measure processing,
and customized EDI invoice processing.
- Modified purchase order
processing for EDI to send custom fields.
- Used J.D. Edwards CASE tools
to create a sales order quotation system from the
design stage to the final documentation.
Customized the Physical Inventory and Cycle Count
applications to meet business needs.
- Assisted in the A31 to A73
upgrade for Y2K compliance.
- Provided services for
implementing J.D. Edwards from a legacy ES9000
system. Customized the EDI sales order system to
allow importing of historical data into J.D.
Edwards. Also made modifications to allow it to
interface with a custom sample order system.

tools, developed applications that increased sales
by helping sales representatives maintain a better
idea of what customers are looking for and take
actions to insure a sale.
- Assisted in the
implementation of J.D. Edwards A73 for an
electronics manufacturing company. Using J.D.
Edwards CASE tools, wrote custom sales reports.
Helped with the EDI implementation by tailoring
the purchase order programs for the automotive
industry to prevent supply shortages.

using FTP Unix, VAX, Windows,
Novell, and OS/2 servers. Helped
